Laurent de Brunhoff's all-new Babar adventure will take children on a world tour they'll never forget! In this adventurous addition to the Babar series, children are introduced to an international array of cities, customs, foods, and languages. In this latest book from the venerable storyteller and artist Laurent de Brunhoff, Babar takes his family on a world tour, visiting a number of countries around the globe. First stop is Italy where they learn to say, "Buon Giorno! Hello!" After that, it's off to Germany, Spain (where they learn to flamenco dance!), Russia, India, Japan, and Thailand (for snorkeling). Then Mexico, the Southwest United States, Egypt, Antarctica, and, of course, France (just in time for a fashion show!). Laurent de Brunhoff's Babar's World Tour is enjoyable and entertaining for armchair travelers of all ages.

about the author

World-traveler Laurent de Brunhoff has visited nearly every location featured in Babar's World Tour, and has experienced many of the same languages and activities Babar and his family do. For more than fifty years, he has continued to bring life to the beloved elephant family created by his father, Jean de Brunhoff, a decade before. Since that time, he has produced over thirty books that have enthralled children and adults around the world. He and his wife, Phyllis Rose, live in Key West, Florida.
