about the author

Erica Easely graduated from Columbia, worked at Warner Brothers, created ads at J. Walter Thompson, and is a lifelong clotheshorse. The vintage T-shirt collection of Ed Chalfa is worth over $30,000, and he is the owner of Portland, Oregon's famous Red Light Clothing Exchange. Wayne Kramer was the guitarist for the legendary MC5. The torn clothes of iconic musician Richard Hell were the main inspiration for the punk aesthetic. Arturo Vega was the art director for the legendary Ramones. Mark Arm is the lead singer of the pioneering grunge band Mudhoney.
